SPANISH
The West Side School Board approved the hiring of a Spanish teacher, with a phasing in of weekly Spanish classes starting with TK-4th Grade. By 2021, Spanish will be offered to all classes thru to 6th Gr.
After much research, West Side adopted the "Sonrisas Spanish Curriculum." This curriculum focuses on student interaction with a language educator and enables students to become effective Spanish communicators, globally literate citizens, and lifelong language learners.
